TaiHu Ancient Town is located in HuZhou City, ZheJiang Province, China. It is the core area of TaiHu Lake Dragon Dream Paradise, with a total construction area of about 660,000 square meters. Theater, 10 small theaters, with a total of about 20,000 performing arts seats; an old street with a total length of 9,000 meters that integrates intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, shopping, street performances, etc.; an area of 50,000 square meters, including more than 100 restaurants, about LiYuMen dining area with 20,000 seats; a bar street with 20,000 seats; a large water dancing fountain show with a water area of 35,000 square meters; and 62 inns with different styles, with a total of 4,266 rooms. A trip to scenic XiTang 西塘, ZheJiang province
XīTang is a picturesque, ancient water-town in JiaShan County, ZheJiang province; within the flat-lands of the YangTse River delta. Its history dates back to at least the Spring and Autumn Period when it was located at the border of the ancient states of Yue and Wu. XiTang is crisscrossed by nine rivers and many canals, linked by a multitude of distinct stone bridges. In the older parts of town, the buildings are set along the banks of the canals, which serve as the main transportation thoroughfares. The town has maintained a tranquil ambiance and scenic beauty, making it a popular tourist attraction and has been frequently depicted in traditional Chinese landscape painting. In XiTang, there are well-preserved groups of buildings from the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) and the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). XiTang also contains numerous antique residences and temples, such as the Temple of the Seven Masters and a 1,200 meter canal-side, tiled-roof long-corridor. Other places of interest include : XiYuan Garden, with trees and plants, lakes and bridges, pavilions and fountains all harmoniously integrated. Xue's House, which is a typical wooden courtyard of the rich merchant from this region during the later Qing dynasty. WangXian Bridge, which was constructed during the Song dynasty, more than a thousand years ago. XiTang can be explored on a day-trip from Shanghai or HangZhou. From Shanghai, the journey takes around 1:45 hours by coach. Alternatively, one can first take a train or bus to JiaShan, from where there is a bus leaving for XiTang every 10 minutes, a distance of around ten kilometers. One might choose to stay overnight in XiTang or JiaShan to take in the evening or early morning ambiance.

WuZhen is an ancient water town. It can be easily reached by bus or train from SuZhou or HangZhou. It is famous for its blue-dyed fabric.

PuTuo Mountain 普陀山, ZheJiang province
With CCTV's Travelogue. PǔTuóShān is one of many mountain islands south east of ShangHai, and one of the four sacred mountains in Chinese Buddhism. It can be reached by boat from NingBo or ShangHai, or by plane from BeiJing and ShangHai. There are sandy beaches at the shoreline and about 30 temples on the mountain, plus a 30 meter tall statue of GuanYin, the Goddess of Mercy.
HangZhou lies 180 kilometers south west of ShangHai in the YangTse River Delta and is the capital of ZheJiang province. With abundant natural scenery, including the famous West Lake, HangZhou has been a popular city for over 2,000 years when it was founded during the Qin dynasty. It is listed as one of the seven great ancient capitals of China. The West Lake covers 6 square km and is surrounded by historical sites and scenic areas. HangZhou lies at the southern end of the Grand Canal of China, with a length of nearly 1,800 km; at the northern end lies BeiJing. It was completed around 600 AD during the Sui dynasty. The longest man-made canal in the world, by far, it is a fine example of China's achievements, which include invention of the canal lock (Song dynasty; 10th century). HangZhou is also noted for tea, silk, umbrellas and fans.
