PuTuoShan 普陀山

PuTuoShan lies on an island south-east of Shanghai, in ZheJiang province.

Mount PuTuo is one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism, the others being Mount WuTai, Mount JiuHua, and Mount EMei. Mount PuTuo lies in the East China Sea and has the special beauty created between sea and mountain. The area is about 12.5 square kilometers and has many famous and sacred temples.
