Skateboarding in BeiJing 北京 (2)

Including the new Woodward Skate Park (40,000 square feet).

Paid for by the Chinese government, the facility will be a training center for the 'new' sports - skateboarding, snowboarding and BMX. Like the other Woodward camps, this place will also offer a variety of amenities, including an indoor pool, bowling alley, pond, driving range, tennis, ping pong, archery, gymnastics, cheerleading, video production, graphic design, animation, audio recording, photography and even English classes. The facility will be a year-round academy, working with the local schools so that students in Beijing will be able to visit.

The world's largest skate park is in Shanghai - SMP (147,000 square feet).
