ZhangJiaJie 张家界 Forest Park
Part of the WuLingYuan Scenic Area in Hunan province. WuLingYuan National Park 中国世界自然遗产 武陵源 张家界 is a spectacular area stretching over more than 26,000 hectares. The park is dominated by more than 3,000 narrow sandstone pillars and peaks, many over 200 meters high. Between the peaks lie ravines and gorges with streams, pools and waterfalls, about 40 caves, and two large natural bridges. In addition to the striking beauty of the landscape, the region is also noted for the fact that it is home to a number of endangered plant and animal species.
ChangBai Mountain 长白山
ChangBai Mountain, ChangBaiShan ('Ever White Mountain'), is located in the south east of JiLin province, on the border between China and North Korea. The mountain is actually a volcano, with a height of 2,744 meters (9,000 feet), the highest mountain in north east China. ChangBai Mountain TianChi is the deepest lake in China, which was formed after a massive eruption in the year 946 and is about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) wide; technically, this is called a caldera. The origin of the name comes from the altitude - 'The Lake of Heaven'. TianChi is surrounded by 16 mountains, which makes the lake just like a gorgeous emerald among them. Scenes of ancient China – HongCun 宏村
Filmed in July 2013. With Sticker Travel. First film shows the village of HongCun in AnHui province. Scenes from the film 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' were filmed in HongCun, which is close to the south slope of Mount HuangShan and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The second film shows some places from WuYuan County, JiangXi province, including LiKeng village. Many of the well-preserved structures here date back to the Tang Dynasty, around 700 AD.
