The Tibetan Style Temple

From SuZhou street, proceed upwards through the magnificent Tibetan style temple and its amazing rock gardens.

This is a massive complex of buildings forming a Tibetan-style temple. It was buit in the Emperor QianLong period, but was devastated by the Anglo-French invasion in 1860. Renovation of these buildings was carried out in the 1990s. It has the name 'Four Great Regions', indicating the scope of the Chinese nation.

Then make your way up to the very top of the hill where you will find a Buddhist temple glazed in green and yellow tiles, many depicting the Buddha.
