South Lake Island
南胡岛
This island was also known as PengLai island, because its beauty resembled the mythical island thought to be the home of immortals. It is connected to the east shore of KunMing lake by the rainbow-like Seventeen Arch Bridge.
The Hall of Forebearance and Humbleness sits on an artificial hill of rocks and faces the Hall of Buddhist Fragrance across KunMing Lake.
