GuiZhou is a mountainous province in south China, known for its awesome scenery, ancient rural villages and diverse ethnic cultures.

GuiZhou borders SiChuan and ChongQing to the north, YunNan to the west, GuangXi to the south and HuNan to the east. The provincial capital is GuiYang.

Many Chinese ethnic minorities have been living in this region for many centuries; these include the Miao, Yao, Yi, Qiang, Dong, Zhuang, BouYei, Bai, TuJia, GeLao and Sui.

This is beautiful XiShuangBanNa 西双版纳傣族自治州, YunNan province

XiShuangBanNa located in the south of YunNan province, south China, is a charming international eco-tourism resort on the reaches of the Mekong river (known as the LanCang river in China), bordering with Laos and Myanmar, and adjacent to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Esteemed for its captivating tropical landscapes and exotic cultures of the 13 native minorities, this land is home to China's largest tropical rainforest and abundant biological resources, and the Dai Water Splashing Festival (which lasts for three days from April 13 to 15).

The Six Famous Tea Mountains region, 六大茶山 (Liù Dà Chá Shān) produce some of the most highly regarded Pu-Er tea.

There are daily flights from KunMing, DaLi and ChengDu.

Pu’Er 普洱 National Park, plus local customs and tea culture

Pu'Er lies in south YunNan province, south China, not far from the borders with Myanmar and Laos, and is home to a number of ethnic groups. This area is rich in vegetation and wildlife.

Pu'Er gives its name to a popular variety of fermented, aged, dark tea with a strong, earthy flavor.

Pu'Er is about a four to five hours' drive from the provincial capital, KunMing.

The Ethnic Culture Park (MinZu), BeiJing 北京

This large park presents the culture of China's ethnic groups and famous landmarks. It is composed of two halves connected by a bridge and lies close to the Olympic Park. The nearest subway station is BeiTuCheng (lines 10 and 8). The park features the ethnic dance and other customs of China's peoples and typical architectural styles from each region. There are many scenic spots within the beautifully landscaped grounds.
